13:37-39 - "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man," replied Jesus. "The field is the whole world. The good seed? That is the sons of the kingdom, while the weeds are the sons of the evil one. The blackguard who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of this world. The reapers are angels

I can say that I’m a spiritual person. I do believe in the power from above that is guiding us and looking over at us. His love for us is all encompassing. Following are the ten spiritual reminders we should never forget.
One: Prayer is effective and powerful
A prayer can be a simple thank you for blessings we are receiving. A whisper of hope that we may be able to overcome the struggles that we are currently facing. A surrender to His will. Prayer is talking to the Father. When you’re weary and helpless, when faced with trials and problems, when you feel that you are alone in your fight, pray. Just pray. Close your eyes and talk to Him. And in that silence you will hear Him.

Two: Be grateful all the times
Thank the Lord, for the sun that lights our day. Thank Him for the coolness of the night, that we may rest. Thank Him for the people around us, sharing their skills, tilling our lands, fighting our wars. Thank Him for the beauty that is around us. Thank Him for our struggles, for our struggles made us stronger. Thank Him for the love showered by our families and friends. Thank Him every opportunity you have. Thank Him for our enemies, because of them we know who our friends are. Thank Him for the world we live in. Thank Him for the rains, a reminder that soon you’ll see a rainbow. Thank Him for the air we breathe, the water we still are able to drink, the food we eat. Thank Him for the abundance of fishes in the ocean, of birds in the sky and animals in our forests and farms. Thank Him for our ecosystem. Be grateful at all times, as all things come from His blessings!
Three: Forgiving yourself is your best gift
I remember a time that I blamed myself for the mistakes I did in the past. But then, I decided to forgive myself, and it was the best gift I have ever received. From that moment, I became free as a bird. I was able to free myself from pride, from anger, from distrust, from ego and hate. I began to accept all of me. My fears, my insecurities, my failures. It gave me the strength and will to change myself. To better myself. To be better for the people that I love, the people that matters most to me. And yes, I say, forgive yourself. It’s the best gift you can give to yourself.
Four: Do all things with love
We can do things automatically. We have an auto response to very basic things that we do. When we are thirsty, we drink. When we’re tired, we rest. When we see suffering, we sympathize. But when we respond with love, there’s a sort of magic that makes responding something more worthwhile. We now respond with compassion, for compassion begets love and love begets compassion. When we do all things with love, the things we do begins to have a meaning. Our life begins to have purpose. We now eat not just to fill our tummy. We eat because we want to be healthy, because we want to live longer to be with our loved ones much longer. We no longer just rest our tired bodies, we rest to let our bodies recuperate from the stress of each day, that we may feel invigorated in the morning.

Five: Give cheerfully

When we give, we must give with a cheerful heart. Because the Lord our God is happy with a cheerful giver. And when we give cheerfully, giving becomes sharing. Because giving means what you give is yours. Sharing is giving the other person what is also theirs. And the blessings that we receive were meant to be shared. We are just instruments in the sharing of the blessings that the Lord our God is giving us.
Six: God will always make a way
I have always loved the song “God will make a way”. It was His promise to me that I just have to believe in His promise, and He will make a way for me. That His powers are beyond what I can comprehend. That He will move mountains for me, so long as I believe, He will make a way for me. No matter how dark the nights. No matter how scorching the heat of the sun. No matter how hard the rain is. There is His promise, that after the rain, the sun will continue to shine upon us all. And that the nights will always give way to a bright new day!
Seven: God’s Word is your life and light
When darkness is upon me, and when I feel that the world is closing out on me, I just turn to His words, and His Words becomes my comfort. Have you ever experienced a time, when you just wanted to end it all, because of all the pain you feel? Then, His word comes upon you and you start to hear His comforting words telling you that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. That life in itself is your light.
Eight: The joy of the Lord is your strength
Yes! I believe that my strength comes from knowing that I am doing things for His joy. That His joy is for us, His children, to walk His ways.
Nine: Hope is the anchor of your soul
When we no longer hope, we become just travelers of this world. We walk the earth with nothing to look upon. But with hope, we become eager to walk in faith. With that faith we become whole. And our soul is now anchored steadily in our faith that there is a God, a powerful God that is beyond everything and anything in this world.

Ten: God loves you

Believe that God loves you. Believe that God loves you for who and what you are and what you have become. God loves you no matter what. And because God loves you, He is blessing you in ways you may not know. He guides you and guards you. You may feel at times that you are not loved, but the truth is, He has protected you from something much worse. God loves us, so much, that He gave us His only Begotten Son, that we may have eternal life.

Are you blessed after reading this post? Hope you do.
