STOCK MARKET- HOW THE UNION BUDGET IS MADE.

Hi Friends,
Do you know the mantras for preparing Union Budget?  Read the points furnished below to boost your knowledge.  29.02.2016 is the Union Budget day for 2016-17.
1.       The main responsibility for producing the Budget rests with the Budget Division of the Department of Economic Affairs in the finance ministry.  The NITI Aayog is also roped in for consultation.  2.  In September of every year this Budget Division issues a circular to all Union ministries, states, UTs, and the defence forces asking them to prepare their estimates for the next fiscal year.  3..  Once the finance ministry gets these proposals from the ministries and other autonomous departments, various arms of the Fin Min. -  Department of Revenue, Department of Expenditure and the Department of Economic Affairs get into action.

STOCK MARKET- SENSEX HEADS INTO BUDGET WITH WORST MONTHLY PERFORMANCE IN LAST 7 YEARS.

The BSE Sensex is down 7 per cent since January 29, its worst 30-day performance in the month prior to budget since 2009. The selloff in domestic markets has been led by foreign institutional investors, who after pumping in $3.2 billion in equities in last year, have dumped a net $2.4 billion in just two months of 2016. Domestic equities have been weighed down by global factors, but concerns about negative surprises in Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's third budget have also added to jitters.

STOCK MARKET- INDIA IS A BUY: SIX REASONS TO NOTE.

Opportunity does not lie in positioning for the obvious but lies in positioning for the not so obvious. It is obvious that India is facing heavy macro headwinds in the form of falling growth, twin deficits, weak currency, high interest rates, uncertain inflation outlook, global risk aversion and anaemic world economic growth. However what is not so obvious but very much a good possibility is that India's economy could well come out of its current issues and actually show strength into the future.

MONEY MARKET- MODI GOVERNMENT'S CRITICAL TEST ON MONDAY:KEEPING FIIS INVESTED.

Mumbai: Nearly two years after Narendra Modi was elected as India's prime minister with an ambitious business-friendly agenda, the feeble pace of reforms is starting to test the patience of one of his biggest group of supporters: foreign investors.

Long overshadowed by China's spectacular rise, PM Modi's powerful electoral mandate stirred hopes that India finally had a leader capable of boosting its underwhelming investment climate and stolid global image.

QUOTES- POSITIVE INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES.

                     Everything changes, every second.

Embrace change and realize it happens for a reason.  It won’t always be obvious at first, but in the end it will be worth it.

What you have today may become what you had by tomorrow.  You never know.  Things change, often spontaneously.  People and circumstances come and go.  Life doesn’t stop for anybody.  It moves rapidly and rushes from calm to chaos in a matter of seconds, and happens like this to people every day.  It’s likely happening to someone nearby right now.

Sometimes the shortest split second in time changes the direction of our lives.  A seemingly innocuous decision rattles our whole world like a meteorite striking Earth.  Entire lives have been swiveled and flipped upside down, for better or worse, on the strength of an unpredictable event.  And these events are always happening.

However good or bad a situation is now, it will change.  That’s the one thing you can count on.  So when life is good, enjoy it.  Don’t go looking for something better every second.  Happiness never comes to those who don’t appreciate what they have while they have it.

AN OL
D MAN CAME INTO...

An old man came into the bank and asked for a loan of 500 dollars. The bank employee started filling out the papers.
– What are you going to do with this money? – He asked.
– I will go to the city to sell the jewellery that I made.
– What do you have for the security of the loan?
– I don’t know, what is a security? – the man said.
– Well, security – is something that has value and can cover the cost of the loan. Do you have a car?
– Yes – a 1949 year truck.
– No, it won’t suit, – said the bank clerk. – Maybe you have livestock?
– Yes, I have a horse.
– How old is it?
– I don’t know because it doesn’t have teeth anymore to tell.
In the end the papers for the loan were filled and the man was given 500 dollars.
After a couple of weeks the man came to the bank again with a package of money. He counted the ones belonging to the bank and hid the other ones.
– What are you going to do with the other money, – the same clerk asked.
– I will keep them in my house, – the man answered.
– You can make a deposit in our bank.
– I don’t know, what’s a deposit? – The man said.
– Well, you give the money to the bank, bank takes care of it, and when you need money, you can take it.
The old man thought about it and asked:
– Does the bank have something to give me in security for the money?

It Is A Wise Man Who Pays his debt.

A Chinese man called Mr Xu, swore to God that he didn't owe $100 to his neighbour Mr Huang. In the time it has taken you to read this a lightning bolt struck down Mr Xu. Mr Huang remembered the debt well, Xu borrowed the money for a friend's marriage gift, Will and Guy have discovered.
In desperation Mr Huang said that if Xu dared to swear to god that he did not owe the money, then he would waive the dept. Xu foolishly took up the challenge, and made the oath in front of a crowd of neighbours in Fuqing city, China. Less than a minute after Xu made his oath, he was struck down by lightning.
Xu was quickly taken to hospital where doctors confirmed he had indeed been injured by lightning. While he is expected to make a full recovery, it is hoped that Xu will learn from this parable and settle his debt honourably.

                                      BIG FRANK.

Big Frank was having his hair styled at the hairdresser's when a lorry smashed into a car, outside. Draped in a cape, his hair divided with aluminium clips, Frank, an ex-paratrooper corporal raced out to the car and found the driver unhurt.
The lorry driver, however, was slumped over the wheel, unconscious. Big Frank lost no time in applying his army acquired CPR techniques, including mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The lorry driver recovered consciousness several times, but kept passing out again.
Soon the ambulance arrived with the paramedics and took over, and Frank returned to his barber's seat. 'I just don't understand why he kept passing out,' he said to the hairdresser. 'I did everything they taught me.'
'Well, put yourself in the lorry drivers place, 'said the hairdresser. 'He's driving down the street without a care in the world. The next thing he knows, he's waking up to see some big guy in a green cape with a head full of wires pounding on his chest and kissing him. You'd pass out too'

STOCK MARKET- WHY YOU SELLING SHARES.

Hi friends, though we primarily advocate long term and buy and hold investment strategies, this does not mean that shares should never be sold. Change is the law of life. There is no share which can be bought and forgotten forever. What was a good buy last year may be a better sell a few years hence. Therefore, selling decisions cannot be avoided altogether. The long term or buy and hold investor can postpone and restrict selling decisions in his overall investment strategy, but he cannot eliminate them completely

STOCK MARKET- RAIL BUDGET FAILS TO CHEER STOCK MARKET,RUPEE NEAR RECORD LOW.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu announced a 20 per cent hike in planned railway spending for 2016-17, but a big revenue miss for the current year disappointed stock markets. The BSE Sensex slumped to its third consecutive day of losses, while the rupee traded around 68.75 per dollar.
A slowdown in growth of passenger and freight revenues has put pressure on the railways' finances and raised doubts about Mr Prabhu's revenue target, analysts said.
"The railways under achieved on freight and passenger targets... asking to grow at 10 per cent looks like a leap of faith," said market analyst Ajay Bagga.
He described the rail budget as "incremental."
