Shivalic Bimetal Controls -- A niche player in electronics set for higher growth

The financials also back the story. The company never reported losses in any of the last 15 years of its history and maintained an average 12 percent operating margin.
The small chips, circuit or a small regulator that we often see on any of the electronic appliance requires joining several materials made from metals like copper and others. And Shivalik Bimetal Controls (SBCL), which is catering to this industry since 1984, is well placed to take advantage of a surge in demand. Shivalik specialises in joining materials and has been a dominant player in this space supplying its products to clients across sectors such as electronics, automotive and home appliances.

Power of mind--The Real Secret about the Power of the Mind

“What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our prese
nt thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.”  ~Buddha
Unless you spent the last decade in a Tibetan monastery or under a rock, you probably know about Rhonda Byrne's book/DVD The Secret.
This 2006 self-help volume, highly endorsed by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, erroneously educated readers on “The Law Of Attraction,” a hypothesis that suggests we have the power to influence events and circumstances of our live in three simple steps:
1. “Ask the Universe for what you want.” In essence, get your desires very clear in your mind. (Do not limit yourself to any possibility.)
2. Believe. “Act, speak, and think as though you have already received what you've asked for.” When you emit the frequency of having received it, the law of attraction moves people, events, and circumstances for you to receive.
3. Receive. “Feel the way you will feel once your desire has manifested.” Feeling good now puts you on the frequency of what you want.
The general public accepted this get-thin/rich/famous/talented-quick scheme and ate it up like a bowl of Cherry Garcia ice-cream.
One interesting characteristic about people who believe anything they're told without the benefits of research is that they tend to have a very fickle belief system. So countless people believed The Secret, then slumped into devastated depressions when asking the Universe to make them skinny didn't actually make those size two skinny jeans glide on and button up.
But instead of people blaming the gurus who presented this misinformation, they took it personally, given they'd also been told that if their wishes weren't quickly granted, it was because the wisher just wasn't wishing hard enough.

STOCK MARKET-- Which type of trading (intraday, positional) can give higher profit in the stock market?

I am trading in stock market from 30 years and I have tried all the options like intraday trading, positional trading, equity cash, f&o, mcx, currencies, algo trading etc. I have tried even more than 10 advisory companies and PMS providers.
If you want to gain good profit, go for positional trading rather than pure intraday trading. The reason behind is that intraday trading is completely risky and market is most of the time volatile. So one day you will get some profit and another day you will loose.
I was not much happy with intraday trading from last many years. Major reason behind that was LOSS. Frequent loss in intraday frustrate us and we feel that we can’t get profit from market.
Intraday is like taking risk always. Sometimes we get profit and sometimes we get loss. I was very keen to do intraday trades but luck was very hard and loosing most of the times.
When I was keep on loosing in intraday trading, I tried to improve my trading pattern and make necessary changes. After that success ratio improved to 60% to 65% but still I was unsatisfied because I was not able to generate bigger profits.
Based on my large experience, I am sharing Golden rules of stock market trading:

SENIOR PERSON--When children abandon their parents

“I haven’t heard from your brother in months… again,” sighed my mother.
“I have been trying to find out if he will be coming over on Christmas day but he just ignores my calls as usual”.
“Have you heard from him? Is he okay? I just don’t know what I have done?” she asks.
This is a regular occurrence for mum. Luckily she has two other children my younger brother and I who do stay in contact regularly and will be coming home for Christmas. But I can see the heartbreak in her eyes when she speaks about her always absent first-born son.

There are so many similar stories of this epidemic… Children who abandon their parents in later life…
Judy is a 67-year-old widower with three children, five grandchildren but hasn’t seen any of them for years.
“I gave birth to three children, but now they are strangers to me. I breaks my heart and I miss them terribly.”

“I have racked my mind to try to work out what I have done that could have justified the abandonment. I am at a loss to what I’ve done or said.”
Judy has now given up trying to contact her children but sill diligently sends presents each year to the grandchildren on their birthday.

Research shows that the best-performing stocks make new highs before they make their major leaps in price.
How many times have you heard the phrase, "Buy low, sell high"? This is the conventional wisdom in the investment world; however, research shows that the best-performing stocks make new highs before they make their major leaps in price. Moreover, stocks at new highs tend to continue moving higher, while stocks making new lows tend to continue to move even lower.
Stocks that seem too ‘expensive’ and risky to most investors are likely to continue rising. And those that seem ‘cheap’ usually go down.
This is a concept many investors find difficult to accept. They assume it's too late to buy a stock that's reached an all-time high. But the great paradox of the stock market is "Stocks that seem too ‘expensive’ and risky to most investors are likely to continue rising. And those that seem ‘cheap’ usually go down."

Avoid Cheap Stocks

Perhaps you're one of those investors who think they'll hit the jackpot buying a low-priced stock that goes on to make huge gains. Some investors equate cheap stocks with better value or low risk. If a stock is cheaply priced, then you can't lose a whole lot, right? Wrong. The truth is that trying to consistently make money with cheap stocks is difficult, at best. Stocks are cheap for a reason. Think of a stock's price as a measure of its quality and, consequently, its potential. Stocks selling cheap have a much smaller chance of making major advances, because they're usually companies lacking good performance records. Also, professional investors shun low-priced stocks because they tend to be lightly traded, making it harder to move in and out of such stocks.
So, you can see what research bears out: it's best to look for new highs in quality stocks. It's especially good when the stock is coming out of a base. But don't wait too long: As soon as you spot a buy point -- and if all other factors are in place, such as good earnings growth -- it's time to have confidence and conviction and make your move. Otherwise, you may miss your opportunity.
Wish you good luck.

QUOTES--motivational quotes --Need a quick dose of inspiration? Need a quick surge in motivation? You'll definitely find it here ...

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?" --Marianne Williamson

STOCK MARKET--What happens if 80 crore Indians invest in stock markets?

As of now less than 1.8% (2 crore) Indians invest their money in stock market, so I'm assuming you were probably tripping on some high quality dope while posting this question.
If some sort of miracle happens and suddenly 80 crore Indians rushes to invest in stock market then a lot of money will flow in markets which will lead to following trail of events:
·         Market will become highly volatile thanks to outnumbering of investors by speculators
·         Market will reach new heights everyday following which greed factor will kick in forming a huge bubble
·         Investing in market would become a national video game
·         Smart investors knows exactly what is coming and they will quietly book their profits this is where the fear factor starts working.
·         With stocks valued a lot more than their intrinsic value, the bubble is set to burst
·         boom!!
·         Indian market has hit 50 year low and companies have filed for bankruptcy resulting in increase of unemployment.

So who wins?
irrespective of whether the stock market crashes or hit an all time high, brokers are making substantial fortune by fooling speculators.

Success in the stock market is as much about limiting losses as it is about riding winning stocks. A rule-based and disciplined selling strategy can help you avoid heavy losses and preserve your portfolio value. This lesson explains how to sell when a stock does not perform as per your expectations.
Nobody's right all the time in the market, not even veteran market professionals. But as the famous investor Bernard Baruch once said, "Even being right three or four times out of 10 should yield a person a fortune if they have the sense to cut losses quickly."
If your stock selection doesn't work out and you're faced with a loss, sell to limit your losses; act quickly.
Being a successful investor is just as much about limiting losses as it is about riding a winning stock. Downturns are a part of life in the market, and you must act decisively to protect yourself from excessive losses. If your stock selection doesn't work out and you're faced with a loss, don't let your pride stop you from admitting you've made a mistake and acting quickly. Cut your losses early and move on. You must make rational decisions instead of trying to rationalize your way out of a costly mistake

SHARE MARKET--How can I study and invest in the Indian share market?

Since, the question is about investment and capital is unknown, let me tell you what exactly you need to do. Remember, my answer is based on a time frame of 2 years as you have not specifically mentioned about what time frame are you talking about and investment requires patience.
Everyone would say first learn. But what and How is what I will tell in a nutshell. Do the following daily even if you fail to comprehend most of it. Once, it becomes a habit, you will see the fruits.
1.       First month- Read Economic Times, Bloomberg and Investopedia. Learn about balance sheet, P & L statement and ratios. Just watch CNBC and Zee Business, but don’t invest. Only Watch.
2.      Second month- Do exactly what you were doing in the first month, just add 2 books too now by the author Benjamin Graham- The Security Analysis and the Intelligent investor. These two books will be now your friends for your whole life and to complete at first, you need to spend atleast 3–4 months.
3.      Third,Fourth and Fifth month- Repeat the activities of first and second month but now you also need to start paper trades. With what so ever you learn, go to websites like ET Money and Moneycontrol, assume you have real 10K and start taking trades on paper. Since, it will be positional, you just take once and forget.
