It is true that every family has its secrets; however, it is the content of the secret that really counts.
Secrets can be small and insignificant, (planning a surprise birthday celebration or a trip to Disneyland for spring break). Those types of secrets — and their keepers — cause no harm.
On the other hand, traumatic, painful, or life-changing secrets potentially can damage an entire family’s mental health and well-being for some time.
So should you keep your family’s secrets? Here’s why it might be harmful to continue doing so.
The most frequently kept secrets within a family include, but are not limited to, finances, serious health issues and death, and impending divorce.

STOCK MARKET--Ready, Set, Invest! 5 Questions to ask yourself when you’re ready to Start Investing

When you decide that it’s time to start investing, sometimes the hardest part can be knowing where to start. For beginners, taking that initial plunge into the market can seem intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be. You can get the ball rolling by answering just a few simple questions – like the ones below.

And even after you’ve earned your stripes as an experienced investor, it might serve you well to revisit these basic questions every once in a while.

1. What are my long-term investment goals?

If you’re new to investing, a good first step can also be an easy one. Take some time to think about your big-picture goal. Not necessarily the dollar amount you’re looking to gain, but the real motive behind investing. Why do you want to invest?
Are you looking to build funds for a new home, an education for yourself or your child, or for a more comfortable, sooner-rather-than-later, retirement?

The answer can be a combination of goals, but your reasons should be obvious and tangible to you. Thinking about what motivates you should help you better understand what your investment strategy should be. Plus, having a clear vision of what you hope to achieve in the end can help you stay committed throughout the ups and downs of the market.

1.     Design your ideal life. What is your ideal life? Design it. First, assess your life at the moment via the life wheel. Then, ask yourself what it takes to live a 10/10 life (in all 10 areas - career, health, love, social, etc...). What is the life that will make you the best person you can ever be? Set your BHAGs - big, hairy and audacious goals! There are no limits in life - only those you set for yourself!

2.     Stop putting life on hold. Are you putting any parts of your life on hold? What is one area of your life you have been putting off/avoiding/denying? Uncover it and start working on it.

3.     Create your life handbook. Your life handbook is your life-long personal manual to live your best life - from your mission statement, your values, your long-term goals, short-term goals, personal strengths, blind spots to address, plans, among others. Create your book first then build on from there.

4.     Set your goals. After you design your ideal life, set your 5-year, 3-year and 1-year goals. The more specific your goals, the better! Read the 10 principles on how to get winning goals.

5.     Take action on your goals and dreams. Create an action plan with your strategy, plan and immediate next steps. ESPER: 7-part Goal Achievement series is a great tool to get you started.

6.     Create your bucket list, i.e. things to do before you die. Then, get out to achieve them.

"be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
-1 Corinthians 15:58
Whether it seems big or small, do it for God. Remember, He fed the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish! He can take a seemingly small thing and turn it into something much more significant than we might have thought.
So big or small, do it for God- and trust Him to use it for good!

                       Nine Principles of True Love.

Dear Readers,

Love makes all things beautiful. As a wife and a mother of three, I have been learning a great lesson about true love. Before getting married and before having children, I thought life was all about me. Once I have been giving my life to my family, something significant changed within me. Life has been no longer about “me”, but “we”. Life is all about loving and serving others. Life is about giving and receiving love. There are more than nine principles of true love, but I would love to share with you about what I have been learning. Plus, the number “9” is a great number for the Thai people. Number 9 means moving forward.
