Prabhudas Lilladher is bullish on IDFC First Bank has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 57 in its research report dated February 06, 2019.
Broker Research

Prabhudas Lilladher's research report on IDFC First Bank

IDFCFB's financial performance post-merger saw hit on earnings on back of creation of goodwill from merger, adjusting to the one-time exceptional item PAT was Rs1.53bn. Operationally, margins saw improvement benefitting from erstwhile CAFL's high yielding book but cost of funding was slightly up on back of shoring of deposits. Combined loan assets stood at Rs1046.6bn with retail assets share at 35% and non-retail assets at 54% with growth in focus segments of retail & corporate and drawing down infra loan assets. Bank's loan book with retail loans mix will likely increase to ~50% in next 3 years and 70% in 5-6 years and only selective bets in corporate loans. Bank will see strong shore up in deposits from increased network presence and existing retail franchise with high focus on retail deposits which will also bring down C-D ratio to sustainable levels and lower high cost borrowing.

MIRACLES- MANY MIRACLES IN MY LIFE- READ THE REAL STORY.

One of the first miracles in my life was when I was just 11 year's old, when
my mother picked me up from school, my father was with her. My mother was
crying a little, so I asked her why?  She then told me that she had terminal
cancer.  What is cancer, I said she then told me.  Watching her go down hill
for the first six months, she began teaching me how to get my younger sister's
ready for school, guided me in how to cook for the family.  We all would gather
around and pray each night for a miracle. My mother was searching to find
someone to come and anoint her.  She found that church, and they came out
and anointed her. Each day she began getting better and better.  Well, that
was 50 years ago and she's still telling me what to do!

STOCK MARKET--Benjamin Graham’s Seven Criteria for Picking Value Stocks Iin India--

Below are Benjamin Graham’s seven time-tested criteria to identify strong value stocks.
Benjamin Graham Value Stock Criteria List:
VALUE CRITERIA #1:
Look for a quality rating that is average or better. You don’t need to find the best quality companies–average or better is fine. Benjamin Graham recommended using Standard & Poor’s rating system and required companies to have an S&P Earnings and Dividend Rating of B or better. The S&P rating system ranges from D to A+. Stick to stocks with ratings of B+ or better, just to be on the safe side.
VALUE CRITERIA #2:
Benjamin Graham advised buying companies with Total Debt to Current Asset ratios of less than 1.10. In value investing it is important at all times to invest in companies with a low debt load. Total Debt to Current Asset ratios can be found in data supplied by Standard & Poor’s, Value Line, and many other services.
VALUE CRITERIA #3:
Check the Current Ratio (current assets divided by current liabilities) to find companies with ratios over 1.50. This is a common ratio provided by many investment services.
VALUE CRITERIA #4:
Criteria four is simple: Find companies with positive earnings per share growth during the past five years with no earnings deficits. Earnings need to be higher in the most recent year than five years ago. Avoiding companies with earnings deficits during the past five years will help you stay clear of high-risk companies.
VALUE CRITERIA #5:
Invest in companies with price to earnings per share (P/E) ratios of 9.0 or less. Look for companies that are selling at bargain prices. Finding companies with low P/Es usually eliminates high growth companies, which should be evaluated using growth investing techniques.
VALUE CRITERIA #6:

STOCK MARKET--Multibagger Stocks For 2019/read and try it--

Textile Sector On An Upswing
The textile sector of India is one of the oldest sectors of the economy. The sector has witnessed a hard time post demonetization and GST transition phases. However, post enough correction in the stocks, sector seems to be much more attractive. With the government's supportive policies and favourable demand scenario, the sector is expected to create many multibaggers. Here are some of the key pointer which could emerge this sector as a gem.
1. The rising domestic demand environment remains one of the key factors for the robust future of the textile sector. The Strong rise in the private consumption expenditure would aid the industry in FY19.
2. An 11% increase in cotton crop production coupled with the rising acreage at 19% is expected to moderate the cotton prices in the upcoming year. In the near terms, the industry has faced cotton pricing hurdles due to pink bollworm issue. The softening of cotton prices would ultimately aid the operating margins.
3. The government of India has raised the basic customs duty from 10 to 20% on almost 500+ textile products. The move is expected to boost Make in India and indigenous production.
4. Textile exports are also expected to see a robust growth in the upcoming years. The rupees depreciation remains the key reason behind the export growth. Moreover, the government's progressive policies to promote exports are expected to bode well ahead.
Stocks to watch - GHCLVardhman Textiles
Why GHCL And Vardhman Textiles?
GHCL
1) Key Highlights
GHCLs Q3FY19 revenue grew 21% yoy to Rs8.70bn (Emkay estimate: Rs8.06bn), driven by 11.5% yoy growth in Soda-ash and 42% yoy growth in the Textile segment which was largely driven by capacity expansion and realization improvement in the spinning business. EBITDA stood at Rs2.05bn, up 49% yoy on stable performance in the Soda-Ash segment and the Textile segments turnaround. EBITDA margin expanded 439bps yoy to 23.6%, driven by a price hike in Soda-Ash and better utilization in Textiles. PAT rose 44% yoy to Rs1.02bn. Interest cost stood at Rs272mn, down 21% qoq and 3.4% yoy, while depreciation increased 14% yoy to Rs289mn due to the commissioning of newer capacities. The silver linings during the quarter were the sequential turnaround in Home Textiles EBITDA, stable Soda-ash pricing outlook, and tight soda-ash supply situation globally.
2) Inorganic Chemicals realization and growth outlook remains firm
Inorganic Chemicals business revenue grew 11.5% yoy to Rs5.48bn, driven by better realizations. Volumes were down 1% yoy to 2.30 lakh MT, while overall realization increased 13% yoy and 8% qoq on a price hike. The next round of capacity addition in Soda ash should come at the end of Q4FY19. We expect Soda-ash revenue to grow 10% yoy and 7% yoy in FY20/FY21E.

STOCK MARKET--Sensex, SS2 and Modi. Are all three winners?/Read and understand.

Normally, the stock market gets nervous whenever there is a war-like situation. But not this time. More stocks have advanced as compared to the declining stocks since 14th Feb when the Fedayeen attack on CRPF in Pulwama killed 40 jawans. From BSE 500, only 83 stocks are trading at levels lower than those on 14th Feb. How one can explain this movement?

More stocks have advanced as compared to the declining stocks since 14th Feb when the Fedayeen attack on CRPF in Pulwama killed 40 jawans. From BSE 500, only 83 stocks are trading at levels lower than those on 14th Feb. How one can explain this movement?
Likely strong mandate for Modi
The stock market was fearing a fractured mandate in the coming general elections. That’s what pre-election surveys suggested. The market was concerned that a coalition government may not be able to push reforms, impacting long-term growth trajectory of the economy.
After the Pulwama attack, the way Modi government handled the situation suggests that Modi’s popularity is on the rise again. People now believe that the Modi government is walking the talk. It was the first time in many decades that Indian planes went inside Pakistan to carry out Surgical Strike 2 (SS2) on the terrorist camp. This has improved the sentiments as it showed that India is a strong country which would give a befitting reply to the terrorists’ dastardly attacks on Indian soil and that it is no longer a sitting duck.

SHARE MARKET--What is the best investing advice you have received?

I was like everyone investing in small saving funds since I was too busy at my work (excuse!!!!). I always wanted to be unique in everything I do. Finding no time I started my first investment into buying a flat when I was 23. Banks rejected my loan application since I was very young. My dad signed the agreement to get me a loan.
I started paying my EMi and added another one. I repaid the emi for 7 years and I realized I did not earn any on the investment.
I then met with a group of people who were in real estate and making good returns. They quit their job and were literally enjoying their life. I was little surprised but finally I understood the secret of investment.
There is something like pre pre launch offer in property investment. This means you would be part of land that is offered to the builder for development after 4 years. These guys were pooling land and were offering this to builders and are getting the land owner share of flats. They either sell these or hold for rental income
